The control and prevention of microbiological contamination in the manufacturing environment is the combined responsibility of both the operational and support service departments. Each involved group must actively participate in a unified effort to address potential problematic areas and take whatever actions are necessary to insure the production of microbiologically safe finished product. To assist in this critical effort, experienced Bio-Control personnel are available to provide an in-depth analysis of the operational facilities, systems, processes, methods and documentation related to the existing microbiological control program. The focus would be to assess and identify microbiological vulnerabilities in current operational practices and to assist in the development of appropriate effective corrective action plans. In cases where no program exists, Bio-Control can provide the necessary technical expertise and guidance for establishing and implementing a cost effective approach to minimizing microbial contamination. Assistance with the on site evaluation and assessment of contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers is also available.
